Bark and Olive / Road Swell

Road Swell

Support

Road Swell is a one thumb arcade game in which you never touch the ball: you hold near the top of the screen to raise the road ahead, and near the bottom to dig it. Every day there is one shared road with three marks on it, bronze, silver and gold, and the rest of the time there is a fresh road whenever you want one.

It helps to say which phone or tablet you are on, which version of the game you have, and what you were doing when the problem happened.

Questions we are asked

When does the daily road change?

At midnight where you are. The daily road is keyed to your own local calendar date, so your new road arrives at your midnight, not at some hour set somewhere else. Yesterday's road goes with its day; what stays is its record. The Roadbook's Dailies page keeps every day you played, with that day's best and the mark it reached.

Can I move my records to a new phone?

Not from inside the game. There is no account and no sign in, and the game never sends your records anywhere, so it has no copy of them to hand to another device. They are saved by the phone or tablet you played on and they stay there. If you set up a new device from your own iCloud or Google backup, that backup is the only thing that could carry the saved values across, and that is your device's doing rather than the game's.

How do I turn the sound off?

Tap the speaker in the corner of the screen. It is on every screen, including during a run, and it stays the way you left it the next time you open the game. Sound off is a fair game: every hazard is readable in silence.
